Help me please with the Loop de Loop Galaxy for Super Mario Galaxy Nintendo Wii!!!?

Okay, so I walk up to the Giant Penquin in Surfing 101 and he asks if I am a surfer, I say yes and it takes me to a tutorial that I can not get past. I do all of the moves correctly. I even counted that I did one move correctly 205 times in a row but I still can't get to the level. Tried changing batteries in my Wii remote, and even buying a new remote but still no luck. I asked about this before and someone said that you could skip the tutorial by saying no to the giant penquin but that does not work for me because when you say no, he says come back when you change your mind adn you can not do anything!

HELP!
