can i play star wars galaxies if i don't have internet access?

i just bought a new pc and i want to get star wars galaxies to play on it. but i don't have internet access.
the only thing i know about galaxies is that you can create a character and love a whole new life in the star wars world. but i'm not sure if it's just and online game, like world of warcraft, etc.

so basically what i'm asking is, if i have a computer with no internet access can i still play star wars galaxies, or is just online rpg?

any info you have on this would be great.
