| topology compact sub spaces? Find an example of a compct subspace that isn;t closed. Find an example of a open compact subspce. The questions seem like they are asking the same thing. I suppose we can;t use the usual topology of the real line since it is closed and bounded so what else will work? Finite sets are always compact but what are examples that answer the two questions above? Thank you for your help. I really appreciate it.      |
