| Was the Spitzer Space Telescope named after Eliot Spitzer?
After all, wasn't he a congressman or a Senator before he became the philandering governor of New York? BTW, wasn't the James Webb Space Telescope named after a congressman too, or was it the former NASA administrator? EDIT: It would be a rather cruel irony if the telescope WERE named after Eliot ($5000-an-hour) Spitzer!      |
