Biology Major = No career???

I have been considering Biology as a major because I think I would be good in it and I enjoy it, generally. But, people say they can get good jobs at hospitals and labs... but I don't think so, I think people say that crap so students could major in it.

I've also been considering Clinical Laboratory Science but the school I want to go to, I'll have to take some classes in the summer during my 4 years and there's no way I want to spend my summer at school...

However, I know that a hospital will hire a Clinical Laboratory Scientists before a Biology Major. And most biology majors end up becoming teachers anyway. I DON'T WANT TO TEACH. I also know that it is hard to find a job... ??? Takes longer. ?
