How can I find biology research opportunities for the Fall semester?

I can't do research over the summer, and I think my advisor is willing to help me (she's really sweet and tries to help; she's just very busy and I think a new pregnancy is adding to everything for her). Anyway, I made out a resume and sent it to her (she told me to, so that she could contact the mentor initially for me); I consulted career development (on campus) and amended my original. I'm pretty sure what I have now is pretty good.

Anyway, I'm looking for research for the Fall, but I don't know where to look. My advisor may do it or try to help, but I really don't want to put all of that on her anyway, IF I can do something.

PS, I'm looking especially because I'm trying to go to grad school and get a PhD in a biomedical science (pathology I think), and although I WANT to do research anyway, I think this would better my chances.
