...clarification.? Chemiosmosis is the process of:

A) using the kinetic energy of H+ to synthesize ATP

B) using chemical energy to synthesize water

C) Using chemicals to disrupt cell membranes

D) using chemical energy to synthesize sugars.

PS. I know it has to do with the diffusion of ions (H+) across a membrane and the generation of ATP? Correct. So would the answer be A? But then again im confused does it really use kinetic energy?
