Eric S has a spectacular aura about
I need some help! Can anyone assist with some confusing biology homework?

ok so my teacher is a weird one, and doesnt teach out of the textbook, rather what he wants us to know. I need to figure out a few things! please help on any or all if possible! thanks
oh and the more basic the answer, the better, college worthy answers arent neccessary :] thank you
this may be confusing, i know i'm lost! any help is greatly appreciated!
ok soo.. :

-what are the products of the light reactio of photosynthesis, and the dark reaction? [what happens if plant is put in dark vs. light?]
-how would cellular respiration/photosynthesis be affected without enzymes?
-whats an electron transport chain & how does it affect the eficiency of organisms to process/extract energy from sugar molecules?
-differentiate between chmoautotrophic and photoautotrophic?

-what are the main steps in DNA synthesis?
-whats RNA Reverse Transcriptase and what does it hae to do with the processes of protein synthesis &/or DNA synthesis?

THANKS FOR ANY HELP!

Elurp R has a spectacular aura about
1. The products of (light) photosynethis are glucose (sugar) and oxygen

C02 + water = H20 + glucose

As sunlight is a essential to the process (as it provides an energy source) when the plant is placed in the dark the plant is unable to photosynethise, as no energy source is present. Hence the dark photosynthesis has no products.

2. Enzymes are a protein that are used in all chemial reactions to speed up the process. If enzymes where not present, cellular respiration and photosynthesis would not be able to occur effeciently, and eventually not at all. The process would be way to slow.

3. An electron transport chain associates electron carriers and mediating biochemical reactions that produce adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is a major energy intermediate in living organisms. It increases the effiency of organisms to process/extract energy from sugar molecules by converting energy into ATP

4. Photoautotrophs are organisms that carry out photosynthesis. Using energy from sunlight, carbon dioxide and water are converted into organic materials to be used in cellular functions such as biosynthesis and respiration.

Chemotrophs are organisms that obtain energy by the oxidation of electron donating molecules in their environments. They carry out a similar process to photosynethis however they use chemicals as their energy source, not sunlight

nickloporchio has a spectacular aura about
-well, if a plant was in the light, with water provided, it would grow at a normal steady rate with healthy leaves, ect
if in the dark, at first the plant will grow VERY rapidly, toward the cracks of the container opening, trying to reach light, but the leaves will not be very healthy, soon after if it does not reach the opening, it will die, i did an experiment on this so it's true

- if enzymes were not used i don't think either could happen because In the Light-independent or dark reactions the enzyme RuBisCO captures CO2 from the atmosphere and in a process that requires the newly-formed NADPH, called the Calvin-Benson cycle releases three-carbon sugars, which are later combined to form sucrose and starch. so the plant wouldn't be able to capture the CO2

DNA synthesis all the steps are listed here
http://www.dnareplication.info/stepsofdnareplication.php
sorry i couldn't help with them all!
