A.P. Biology?

1. what is the role of ATP in transport of water into root hairs?
2. what is the role of ATP in DNA replication?

I'm in AP Bio too.

1. I didn't think that ATP was needed for water to enter root hairs. I thought it was simply done through diffusion when there is a difference in concentrations. (more water outside the root than inside)

2. no idea

Sorry i coudln't help more.

Wow. I'm very impressed. "A.P." Biology. I didn't even bother reading the question....I'm sure it must be WAY over my head. But I'm gonna email everyone I know and tell them that I almost met an A.P. student today...what an honor!
