Whats a good topic for a biology paper?

I can be anything having to do with biology (or not.) It must be 3-6 pages long so I need a broad topic. Also, my teacher prefers a topic on something he doesnt know. Any suggestions?

Try something different. Stem cells is a good idea but everyone does a paper on stem cells these days. Try a paper on Gene Therapy. Very controversial and lots of informations. and very interesting, I did a paper on it for my english thesis paper last quarter.
