Cristiano has a spectacular aura about
i need a little help on a couple biology questions?

1) What is DNA replication?

2) Where in the cell does this process occur?
3) When does this process occur?

4) Why must DNA replicate itself before one cell divides to form 2 cells?

5)What 2 things does DN helicase do before new nucleotides can be added to the exposed nitrogen bases?

6) What do you call the areas on a DNA molecule where the double helix has seperated and replication is about to begin?

7) What enzyme moves along the 2 old DNA strands, adding complementary nucleotides?

8)What is the end result of DNA replication? Fill in -> _____ DNA molecules, each composed of ( ) and an ( ) strand.

9.) Explain why DNA replication in eukaryotic cells begins at about 100 replication forks on each chromosome instead of starting at one end.

If you could answer a few of these i would appreciate it soo much..

Thanks
