OK. Stop! You haven't even opened your book and your just looking for answers. You've posted several questions in the last 10 minutes. If you are entering the health care system, DON'T!! Lives are at risk and we don't need lazy students.

Induced fit is where an enzyme almost closes around the substrate...like a baseball mit around the ball.Lock and key is ismply that...it states that an enzymes's active site is the EXACT shape of the substate, and that the substrate neatly fits in.So both are substrate specific, just one model states that the enzyme moulds to fit the substrate wheras the other says that the site is allready shappen.Neither has been proved or disproved, but the induced fit model is more widely believed to be correct.hope this helped...

teehee, what he said - i was gonna help until he said that you've made repeat questions already. Do your own homework....at the very least try wikipedia! any A-level (american 12th grade?) text book will have the answer to that. or try a degree level book: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/bv.fcgi?rid=stryerit has whole chapters on the thing!
