What classes should I take in college?

I'm aiming to become a veterinary technician as my primary career after I finish college, but I'm not sure about what classes to take. My community college offers an early start program for those who want to take classes starting in the summer, and I want to do that so I don't overload myself in the fall semester. So far, I've already planned to take biology and biochemistry for health sciences. I don't know what math I'm going to be placed in, so I can't really tell yet. So what's the standard courses that a veterinary technician should take in college? Oh, and I want to be able to balance out my schedule with classes that will help me with my future career, and classes that I just want to do because of interests (like taking language courses such as Japanese and Chinese, and taking music courses).

First take them up on their offer for early admission. AP and honors classes are fine, but honors classes will not get you college credit, and AP classes may or may not get you college credit. Also some schools, especially medical and vet schools, do not recognize AP. You best bet is college classes on an actual college campus.Nearly all CC's have a vet track of some sort eg:http://www.colbycc.edu/?m=4&s=80&l=968Simply talk to the advisor at the CC about exactly what they offer.ThanksBill
