| hey, what's so interesting about biology?
Not every1 likes biology, but I think it is very interesting cuz u learn new things u've never known before...same with history. Especially about ur body and stuff cuz if u didn't learn what was bumping in ur body and y does it bumbs twice...OK maybe not the best example....XD hehe. U don't have to like biology. I hate geography for example.

Nurses and Doctors have to take biology. ALOT of biology. I liked it when I took an animal biology class. We got to dissect a shark and a cat. We also got to dissect a fish. There's not much to fish, by the way, but it was interesting to note that their eyes were bigger than their brains(a perch) so that they basically only think about food. Stuff like that can be interesting, but you don't have to like it. Getting to know the parts of our bodies can be pretty boring, but once you get into what they all do, and why it is needed, it can be interesting. It helps if your teacher makes it interesting. I also really enjoyed biology when studied hand in hand with psychology. Interesting to know how our brains process thoughts and feelings. But once again, if you're still totally bored, that's OK too. Maybe you're more of a Lit person, or Math or History.

Fun things about biology, when you're happy it's because of hormones and various endorphins which cause cascades of reactions that generate that feeling. Excitement involves adrenaline which originally was for fight or flight circumstances linked to survival but now has developed into fun. Sex is great fun and there's a lot of biology to do with that. Falling in love...is it sexually driven or is there something else to do with it? From the moment you're conceived there are various things trying to eat you to live themselves and they continue to do so along with billions of others until they finally succeed when you're long gone but what stops them from doing so in the hopefully many decades that you are alive? Why should we even exist when everything around us apart from life is dead and lifeless? The universe isn't living by our standards, how come we're living when we are made up from various bits of it? How different are we from a fly? Not very much at all really!!It's big questions, some of which biology answers, some of which it explains part of...but it's all fun and fascinating to see unfold. Don't try and link it all together though, you'll have a brain haemorrhage even attempting to piece together everything that goes on in a single iddy biddy cell let alone a multi-trillion celled big thing like a human.
