Biology questions.. [reproduction, dna replication, etc]?

note; just numbered to make it more easy and clear. 1. What is the basic structure/function in all organisms?2. Do birds reproduce externally?3. Do both genetic engineering and selective breeding involve direct manipulation of the dna molecule?4. What do skins/bones undergo to repair injured tissue? [mitosis?]5. What reproduction cells can asexually reproduce moulds?6. Estrogen effects the uterus by a causing a what to the lining?7. What compound are chromosomes made of?8. What are the short sections of DNA, that have the 'instructions'?9. Do all living things respond to changes in their surroundings?10) How many chromosones in somatic cells in humans?11. How many chromosones are in a somatic cell of an animal which haploid number is 38? [is it 38?]
