| How to manage stress levels regarding school?
Ok I have a biology exam, and my english draft is due tomorrow. I've nearly finished biology (been studying all weekend) and I only started english today, do I not stress and go to sleep? Or stay up all night? If i don't hand in an english draft i'm going to be so screwed for the oral presentation (which is thursday) and i've got my maths B exam on wednesday and I really can't study 4 that because I have my counselling appointment tomorrow after the exam and I have to go to work. I would have been more organized but i've been suffering from depression, hence the counselling session, thus skipped 3 weeks of school and now exams are upon me. Only last night I quit work and transferred stores because our new manager was totally disrespectful to me and yelled at me everytime....Do I sleep on it? Or trying and complete my work? And also, what do I do if I can't get to sleep?

wow you have left it a bit late haven't you! but i am a culprit of that also. there is a point where you have to admit to yourself that you can't possibly do any more. the oral presentation in english isn't hugely important to your final gcse mark so i would leave that and briefly go over notes for you maths exam. it sounds like you're already pretty prepared for biology if you have been revising all weekend. if it an end of unit test or a final gcse modular mark? if biology is only an end of module thing, they don't really matter and you can focus more on maths. also, going on the computer or watching tv before you go to bed can make you more stimulated and awake, so it is better to do something like read, write, draw, etc for like an hour or more before you sleep so that you can relax properly and everything. hope this helps! good luck xoh, also, couldn't you miss one of your counseling sessions to revise for maths? take a night off work, say you don't feel well? x

If you don't sleep you won't be capable of sitting an exam. Also, it's really not the end of the world. They're only exams, if you fail so what? Re-sit.If your teachers do not understand then complain. Act like an adult not a child, that's what you'll be expected to act like when you finish exams so why not start early. There's always a way round things you just have to want to find it. Exams mean so much when you're going through them, but when you grow up they're a distant memory and mean nothing.Good luck for your exams.
