| I need advice from someone with a Masters Degree.? Years ago I took four years of college in Accounting and couldn't afford to finish my degree. I am trying to finish up my bachelor degree now (but want to do it in biology) and have found that it would be wiser for me to finish my degree in Business Ad. and then pursue a Masters in Biology. Typically, how long does it take to finish a Masters Degree (I will probably be going part time). And, in your opinion, is this the smartest thing for me to do? Also, can you get a credible Masters online or must you attend classes? |

| I need advice from someone with a Masters Degree.? A Masters degree is normally two years full time, once you have a bachelors in the same major. With an undergrad major that different from your masters, you're probably looking at two years of make-up courses (the junior and senior level biology classes), and then the two years of grad school. As an undergrad, "full-time" meant at least 12, and typically 15 hours. In grad school, "full-time" means 9 hours, and rarely 12.There are some majors where an on-line degree is completely legit.Biology is not one of them, because of the intensive lab work. |
