NJO418 has a spectacular aura about
im doing a report for my biology class and i would like some one to tell me if this

would be a good report.? Will exercise effect the rate of clothespin squeezing?
Materials
•Clothespin
•Calculator
•Clock

In this experiment we will be testing wether or not exercise can effect the amount of how many times you can squeeze a clothespin in a certain amount of time and in this experiment it is one minute.

The independent variable in this experiment is the level of exercise which in this experiment it is wether you exercise or do not exercise. The dependent variable in this experiment is the number of squeezes a person can do in one minute. One of the controlls in this experiment is the type of person and this means wether they are small, skinny, tall or fat. Time is also one of the controlls in this experiment and it is going to be one minute. In this experiment there are two different groups, these two groups are divided into people who will exercise before they squeeze the clothespin and people who will not exercise before they squeeze the clothespins, in the experiment the exercise group consisted of 11 people and the non-exercise group consisted of 12 people. The exercise group will complete an exercise for a certain amount of time, and in this case it was jogging for one minute. While the exercise group was jogging, the non-exercise group relaxed in the class room waiting patiently for the exercise group to finish their exercise. When the exercise group is done exercising both groups will squeeze the clothespin for one minute and will record the times of how many squeezes they completed in one minute. After they have recorded their results they will then do the same thing once again. Everyone will then average how many times they have squeezed the clothespin and then record their final result. It is important that when a person is squeezing a clothespin that they do not talk at all because some one can easily lose count of how many times they have squeezes the clothespin if more than one person is counting out-loud at once.
if there is anything eles that i could improve please tell me.

You have several problems here. First, cardio exercise will have absolutely no effect on the ability to squeeze a clothespin. Completely different muscle groups are involved and it does not require a great deal of respiratory capacity to squeeze a clothespin. Second, you are introducing too many variables into your experiment when you use body types as you experimental catagories. You introduce differences in body type, individual musculature, and a myriad of other factors that would adversely impact the credibility of your results. Also for a group based experiment your sample population is incredibly small and would not pass muster statistically (chi squared test). Also by having them repeat the test multiple times you introduce fatigue into the problem which will again skew your results. I think you should scrap this idea and start over again.
