Tell me if you need Biology in real life?

I mean I might not take it in High School; I might just take a second option to get my science credit. I might join the FFA. They have a Bio class but it mainly focuses on plants and the plant industry.
The reason why I am asking is because I don’t know what to do about it, everyone says I should take Bio but my teachers says that they are both equally the same and I don't really think I am going to be in the health field to know Biology.
(High School is too confusing though this sounds like a really pathetic question)
