Biology Bug Project! Please Read!!!?

Ok, so I'm doing a bug project, and I need 40 different species.
The problem is, I'm trying to straighten out the wings and legs, and it's like impossible. They keep snapping off and ripping.

I've tried putting them on wet paper towels in the sun, I've tried spraying them with water, and I've even tried drenching them in water..

How can I get their legs and wings to move easily? :|

It's always tricky trying to get insects to cooperate when you're pinning them.
