...do with that degree? I need some help becuse I'm worried I'm wasting my time.

Look at all the labs doing research in your area - search yellow pages, carreer mart under "lab" or "laboratory"
also field , enviro, "green" jobs - all very cool and you'll never have to ask "do you want fries with that?"
