| What are the best practices for DVD authoring quality assurance? I have been authoring DVDs on Nero and Adobe Premiere (Vista OS), and have been having difficulties with quality control on final disc production.
1) I typically burn an image onto 3-10 discs at one time on a single internal burner.
2) I have been opening my images through Nero 7 for burning to the discs.
3) I always select to have my data validated and never sell a disc that fails verification.
I have received complaints of disc skipping at more than one DIFFERENT place on more than one DVD. Since the locations of the skipping are inconsistent, I assume that the image itself is not the problem. When I burn my discs I am not doing anything else and as I mentioned above I am always verifying data.
Am I not to trust data verification???
Thank you for any assistance you may be able to offer.
