Windows DVD Maker - like DVD-authoring software?

Is there any software out there thats as simple as Windows DVD Maker (and as 'elegant' in making the preset designs), but slightly more powerful?

For example, I want to put words underneath the "Scenes" page for each scene so I can clarify which is which, but I can't do that under Windows DVD Maker. I tried Sony DVD Architect, but was overwhelmed...
