A good nonfiction book?

Can anyone suggest me a really good nonfiction book? i'm in 9th grade and i have to make a 5 minute speech for english about the book...
So someone please help me find one!

Paddle to the Amazon is pretty good. A bit slow at parts, but still a compelling true story. It's about a father and son that paddle in a kayak from Canada all the way down to the Amazon and through the Amazon River. Took them two years and there's some pretty insane stories in there showing how different the times were in the 80's. There's also a couple of photos included in the book. Other than that I would recommend Into Thin Air which is also a great book and probably a bit faster paced (other than the beginning).

I also have to do something like that so i searched for a "good" and short book. One book i came up with is "The Five people you meat in heaven" by Mitch Albom. I haven't read it bit its just under 200 pages. Another book is "The Night Lives on" by Walter Lord, just in case the other one isn't good.
