Poem about the book The Pearl by John Steinbeck?!?
We have to write a poem about The Pearl by John Steinbeck. I can't think of a line to fill in this space:
A pearl swimming, shining bright
He holds it in the gleaming light
????????????????????????
And sees greatness to come
The missing line needs to end with a word that rhymes with "come". (Ex. from, some, thumb, glum, bum, rum, etc.)
**please only from people who have read the book**
Thanks!
