african american book...whats the title?

ok i read this book and i cant remember the title and author but the plot goes along the lines of something like this..... the main character is a african american girl called renee and she lives with her best friend who has a twin brother called andrew who renee despises for 17 years. Renee and andrew end up falling in love which is a new experience for renee because after being raped by a work collegue many years before renee had not been able to confide in anybody and pursue a relationship.
