| Am I the only one who hates...?
...when little kids just use the Books & Authors section to get us to do the homework that they put off? It seems like every other question is asking for an obviously school-related analysis on Romeo & Juliet or To Kill A Mockingbird, etc. And sometimes they even fess up to it, saying, "Yeah, I can't read it all in one night, help me!" Well then maybe you should have started reading it BEFORE the day it was due! Jeez!Louise C, what are you on? THE TEACHER HANDS THEM THE BOOK AND GIVES THEM A FEW WEEKS TO READ IT! I think that THE BOOK has enough information for the kids to answer questions regarding THE BOOK -- but you've got to READ THE BOOK!

Yes, that annoys me almost as much as the Twilight related questions. If at least they would take the trouble to make it seem like it's unrelated to homework (for example, taking off the numbers from the questions, I hate seeing 1., 2., 3.)And about Twilight, I hate all those repetitive "Edward or Jacob?" and "Do you like the Twilight cast?" questions. At least they're not asking that as much as before...

yea i don't answer those questions....I feel the same way, if the just read it themselves than they wont have to get online at the last minute and try to scramble to get their work done at the last minute......Anyone who tells those kids whats going on in a book....SHAME SHAME...

yeah, i agree. only if they have a decent teacher, there's no way they'll pass a test on what they get from opinions in yahoo answers, so hopefully they'll learn their lesson. i know i did when i tried to take a final on great expectations off cliff notes.. lol

Yeah, and it's so easy to look up the info on book sites like Sparknotes too. My teacher usually discusses the book enough so that even if a person doesn't read the book, he/she can still pass the tests and essays. I usually read it anyway...

i don't mind at all being asked questions by people who need help with homework. There's no law says you have to answer every question on here if you don't want to, if you don't want to help kids with their homework then don't, nobody's forcing you.where else can these children turn anyway, if their teachers haven't given them adequate information to enable them to do the homework themselves? I don't grudge giving my ownchildren help, and I don't grudge helping other people's either.

Uggg, I hate that too!!!! It annoys me to no end. I will be surfing the questions related to books, and every five question or so a "What was the character like in the book The Call of the Wild???" type quetion will pop up. Do your own homework kiddies! Your never going to make it past 10th grade if you can't even do your homework.
