STEEL HIDINGPLACE
Hide behind the cord
Of insufferable wit
Take the knife
Conceal the strife
Never relinquish it
I want to fall inside
The opening that’s made
Step into
The house of love
But I have not been bade
Watch the red line grow
Appear like magic stripes
Up and down
These arms of mine
Denying all their light
I yearn to stop this drug
I beg to bleed no more
But all I have
Is silver blade
And an open door
So I will cry
No more
Yes this is a poem about cutting. It was written in many ways from the empathic feelings I got from friends and recently… for myself.
Do not worry dear readers; consider the poem… not the author.
