My nephew and daughter (both that age) really like "Brown Bear Brown Bear, What do you see?", Dr. Seuss books, "Are you my mother?", and books that have dinosaurs. Go to the library....they have TONS of books for children that age. Or better yet take him to library and let him pick out some books!

I would go with the caterpillar book, i don't know the correct name or goodnight moon, or curious george. My 3 yr.old loves all three!
