Do any authors or writers need free proof reading?

I am an A-Level English Language and Literature student and an avid reader who is interested in pursuing a degree and a career in creative writing. As part of my work experience, I feel it would be beneficial to attempt proof reading so I was wondering whether any authors or writers would be willing to send me any length or amount of their own work for me to proof read, analyse and evaluate. I would be willing to provide detailed constructive criticism completely free of charge.
