| Any other authors similar to Franz Kafka? Preferably from around the same era as him but anything with his kind of style would be great. Oh trust me I enjoy most of the more modern existentialists like camus i'm just looking for something a bit more symbolic and surreal. Thanks though.      |

| les enfents terribles is surreal- it's all about two children's imaginative sinister games. 'in camera' by jean-paul sartre is very good and surreal also. |
