| Did god include viruses such as Ebola and HIV in the book of Genesis?
where it is written that man should have "dominion over...every creeping thing that creepeth opon the earth."
Surely it is fair to characterize a virus as a creeping thing, since the intended meaning was that man should have dominion over all living things, as the writers of the bible had no knowledge of such things as viruses.
Was our dominion foiled by these pesky death-dealing micro-organisms long ago?
should we argue over the semantics of what is "living" when it is clear that these viruses can ravage a human body to the same extent as a charging rhinocerous.
Jack B--this question was not intended to hurt anyone, just to be answered.
RAMJET--is the question any less valid because you happen to feel baited? How can any rational question which also happens to be against your beliefs, be posed to you and not cause offense?
