Is this cheating in your book?

I'm just curious to hear what yall think of this. My question is - do you think that viewing pornography is cheating on your spouse ?

Personally, I do- in fact, I believe that any way, shape or form of lust is adultery and therefore porn would most certainly fit into the "unfaithfulness" category and is cheating/adultery in my view.

So what do yall think ? Do you think it's cheating on your spouse to view porn and/or look at someone lustfully other than your spouse ?

I don't go along with the whole "what if you view it together" argument either- you are still lusting after someone other than the person you pledged to remain faithful too until death do you part.

Just wondering what others' views/thoughts are on this....

I disgree. We are all human and for someone to say that they can't admire someone else, I think life would be too boring. Eyes are for viewing and as long as you don't touch, I think it's OK to look.

The way i put it is its very malicious to cheat so in a way if looking prevents this from happening then maybe its not so bad but you also have to consider that if they were even considering cheating theyre probably not the one..
But i dont condone it I think its very wrong if your dating/married to someone actually i dont even condone it for single people but thats just my opinion!

i personally have no problems with porn. if my husband is watching it,it does not bother me. he is not kissing other women, or cheating on me in any way. it is a form of entertainment in my book. it's interesting, exciting, and high quality porn is very hot. i like it too. there is nothing wrong with me watching other girls be naked and sexy together. it's not real life, just like action movies are not. and no, just because we watch it, does not mean that we are "lusting after someone other than the person you pledged to remain faithful to". i have no desire to do the person on the dvd or computer in real life. none what so ever. it's just entertainment, and i'm not insecure. my husband married me because he loves me, and he thinks i'm great in bed. he has no desire to cheat on me. and i would not either. it's just porn.

No, I don't believe it's cheating. I also think that looking lustfully at another person isn't cheating either. If that was the case you would be cheating all day long.
