Does anyone know the name of this short story? Or it's author?

It was about a man who lived alone with the couple of pigs he had in his backyard, he had a son once but told the son never to go into the shed when it was feeding time for the pigs, but the son did one day and he ran away from home after he saw what he saw and never came back. So this old man drives a snowplow for a living now and keeps to himself mostly and one day he goes to plow the roads and picks up a hitchhiker and they start talking and the snow plow driver tells the hitchhiker that it's dangerous to hitchhike because there's someone around who keeps killing the hitchhikers but they can't find any clues as to who is doing it. They start talking and the driver is priming his wrench in his hand to knock this hitchhiker unconscious and kill him (lo and behold our main guy is the killer) but this hitchhiker reminds him more and more of his son, so he doesn't do it in the end and lets him off. This story had a peculiar name, and was beautifully written with a big twist at the end
