What's the best college choice for an aspiring author and/or editor?

I'm currently only a sophomore, but I'm about 90% sure of my career choice and I really want to attend a college that I will fully benefit from. Preferably a college in the U.S., but I'm definitely open to any suggestions. Thanks!
