| Botany masters, I need help with my project. It is designing a tree for Biology class. Any ideas? I am basing this lightly on a Baobab tree, but it must be original. It is in a tropical savannah. It must attract beetles to it's flowers. Anyhow, here is a list of things I must cover, can you give me some hints on what would look good for each? 1. Leaves 2. Roots 3. Flowers 4. Stem/Trunk 5. Fruit And also, how do they obtain energy and store it? Maintain water? Physically support itself? Defend itself against predators? Reproduce both sexually and asexually, if appropriate? Disperse its young to locations favorable for growth? |
