| yellow plants in cumbria and lake district they look like yellow roses.?
Here is a link that might help. It doesn't sound like a helliobore but it might be. When I travel and see unusual plants I often press a sample to check on later, or ask locals what it is. Even if they only provide a regional common name it helps when I research it. I am fascinated by the unusual species I find when traveling, with hundreds of thousands of plants in the world there is no shortage of interesting ones. http://www.cumbria-wildlife.org.uk/helleborines.html
