laws.......Makes you wonder doesn't it? What established these laws that we have developed our mathematical, biological, chemical, and astrological knowledge around? Are they so steady or we so finite that it just appears so? Are our laws evolving or are they actually permanent and fixed?Or are we all just quantum potential realized?

Nature tends toward order rather than chaos. It is man who causes chaos. And the only creator is in your mind. We are an accident that just happened to end up this way.Nature = order = us

I do not believe in this true order of all earthly things...I think there is order simply because we want it that way-for comfort, among other reasons-and so we perceive order.Look into entropy...mostly everything moves into a greater state of disorder. I should not have said that; I absolutely despise bringing science into philosophical discussions.

Why is there order in all life?

strange, huh?it turns out all the constants are balanced. increase the nuclear force in an atom, and stars would blow up seconds after forming. make the force too weak, and their cores would collapse. it would seem the universe is tuned to have support life and reality!there are 2 explanations for this:a. something, or someone, made it that wayb. nature just tried everything, and this is the one universe that "stuck"

God made it so. Intending mankind to be the maintainers of the earth being set with laws and boundaries so that man could never say that they had made the animals or plants from nothing but that they were made that way in due course.

Every Order must have some form of Chaos... no matter if we cannot see what form it will take...

Why is there order in all life?

We are not an accident. We were formed and planned. Every human, creature, plant, planet etc. There is a purpose and a plan for everything. It was all set in motion years ago by a wonderful, creative and loving God. When He created all of this, He set up laws to govern everything. He is sooooooo Good. Hope this Helps!

Science and philosophy are not separate, rather, they examine the same subject matter albeit from different perspectives, e.g., several blind men examine an elephant (then some other men put the data together and you have something resembling an elephant). There is order because we, that is the Royal we which includes all life forms upon earth (and likely elsewhere), are formed from "stardust." And stardust, among other things, seems to enjoy homeostasis in most broad range environments. Then further consider both physical and social evolution acting upon the organism simultaneously, and what would be the result? Order. Why? We are a part of the physical, which appears to have an order (repeating patterns), and we have created the social, in our image, of which we desire to have an order. Thus, there is order, but, we can manipulate the social (basically our mind, i.e., Mind, Self, & Society by G. H. Mead) into believing that there is order or that there is not depending upon our current whims (law is a good example of such manipulation). And science too is not immune to a similar problem, e.g., the old philogen vs. oxygen example proffered by Kuhn (but this is less of a problem of manipulation than it is of differentiation (see John Graunt's Bills of Mortality, published in 1562). Yes, there is order, but, that order may not yet have revealed itself to us fully.
