Which is better?

WHich one is better? Doing a BSc. ZOOLOGY/BOTANY frm Delhi University and then doing my Masters in MICROBIOLOGY/BIOTECH/GENETICS or Doing a B.Tech MTech BIOTECH? As far as i have seen the syllabus of B.Tech course i could infer that thr is less of detailing and more no. of topics. Plz advice.

B.Sc Zoo or Bot. from DUSeems to me a better choiceas it will give you more time to make a final decision aftercollecting all the information you needto determine/sustain your interest inany field of your choice.I belong to the old school of thoughtand prefer starting from a broad base and then branching off to any specialisation at the PG levelbut be careful and find out the possibilities/probabilities of getting admission in PG MICROBIOLOGY/BIO TECH/GENETICSafter UG in Zoo or Bot.as the competition these days has become toughin that case you may have to go in forB.Tech M Tech Bio Tech route
