I am getting married and I am also a cancer survivor well I had a check-up with...

...my Hematologist and I was...? telling all of the people that happen to be my former nurses and while I was talking with them about it and actually giving them there invite well my doctor was standing right beside me and handed me a damn admission paperwork into the hospital and he said if you want to get married you have to go through medical testing and I was like WTF and he said that if you dont and I go I will have my wife hide your fiance and you will not be getting married and well I wanted to know why he wants me to go through a damn physical just to get married because he said also that he can make it to where we cannot finalize the marrage licence WHY is there some medical complication that could happen if I got married OH and also he gave my fiance paperwork and he made it to where we will be in the same room the room is big enough but why. Only serious answers will help I did see something like this on tv on a show call anatomy of sex but i am sure this cant be like what I am thinking.

you so I would stick w/him!

It seems to me that the doctor might've been joking. This might've been his heavy-handed way of trying to wrangle an invitation for himself. I assume you meant to invite him--especially if he's been instrumental to your recovery.

Honestly I would report that doctor to the head management at the hospital. Not only is he lying to you, since the only medical tests that have been done prior to getting married are blood tests and those are no longer a requirement in most states, but he has no business harrassing you like that which is unethical behavior and will not be tolerated by anyone.

Then find a different doctor asap.
