| Breast cancer vs just a lump.? I found a lump on my breast about a month ago, about half the size of a pea (no more than 5mm in diameter) and got it checked out by my doctor on Thursday. Tomorrow, I'm going for an ultrasound, but I guess they won't do a mammogram because I'm only 18. I read about cysts and they're usually painful, but mine isn't. Does anyone have info about breast lumps and incedence of breast cancer in those under age 20? I can't find anything anywhere. I'm just trying to educate myself before I go in tomorrow, so I know what questions to ask and what to expect. Personal experiences are welcome! Thanks I don't have a family history of breast cancer.      |
