Woke Up Sore Throat, Wore Out, Boyfriend Is Mad, Cancer?

I have been doing some sanding with drywall mudd, and painting. I usually wear a mask but yesterday I may have in haled some dust. I have invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer and I take Chemo treatments once a week for a year. Today I had a really sore throat, and I felt like I had just taken a pill to make me sleep but I didn't take anything. I didn't feel like doing anything. We have been moving and had to pick up my boyfriend's stuff, it was in the truck and we got home. I couldn't breathe. He got mad at me because I was sitting down on the computer and he thought I should be carrying things in the house to help him. I told him that I have cancer and didn't feel good to start with but he was still being shitty about things. Whose fault is it?
We aren't married, just been together since November and he has never really helped me much. When we first got together he did go to my Chemo with me and sit and talk to me but he dont' now.

Not anyone's fault exactly, best to put it this way: Sensitivity and humanity and compassion are not your hubby's strong suit. Still, he is the spouse you have; and you are the one that chose this lemon, squeezable and all.

The fault lies within the prick.

wow, what a jerk. He should know better then that. But maybe he is scared, and this is his way of showing it. Men can act cruel when it comes to serious matters like this, just because they can't handle it. sit him down and tell him he needs to be more considerate of your feelings..and ask him if he is scared, and if that is why he treated you like that.
