| yeah it has everything to do with the cancer. think about, say you swallowed a cotton ball, and instead of it getting absorbed by your intestines it went to your liver instead and got stuck, other things travel through your liver as well and the natural flow of your body has been messed up because of your cotton ball. ok now let's take your cancer, the cancer is not suppose to be there so its messing up the natural flow of your body, and thats why its feeling so weird and messing your bowel up. hope this helps and i hope your cancer goes away |

| A colonoscopy only evaluates the large colon and doesn't include the small colon in the exam. Your bowel movements may have some odor to them because your body isn't able to adequately get the nutrients out of the food you eat so it's flushed out of the body through the stool. The stool has no shape because the colon doesn't have time to absorb the liquid portion of the stool so it comes out as diarrhea. Even though your colonoscopy was normal a few months ago, your cancer may now have spread to the colon. Depending on the type of cancer, it can be fast growing or slow growing so it's possible that the cancer has spread to the colon in that short of a time span. You can either have diarrhea or constipation with cancer...both are common. The only way to adequately examine the small intestine (besides surgery) is having an MRI. |
