My grandfather beat lung cancer when he was in his fifties but it came back and got him this year. I actually found out that he had died in the newspaper coz I haven't been back there since he beat it the first time round.

Quite a few of my aunts & even my grandma have beaten breast cancer to a pulp!! =o) I currently have another aunt who is slowly beating it. I had personally beat some pre-cancer at only 21 years old.....if that counts. Unfortunately all the female cancers run amok in my family....it bites!!! So far I've only lost 3 people...my paternal grandpa to colon cancer (its speculation though), a great uncle yeeears ago to skin cancer & an aunt to lung cancer back in December 06...she was a wonderful woman too. Okay who's the jerkface that's giving all the thumbs down?! That's just wrong!!! |

Yes! I also know both sadly and happily. My own Abueleta while I was still on Medical Leave, I was military. Also my Father-in-Law who they discovered to late to be any good to treat or try to treat. FiL was a good man, more of a man then my Brother in Law, aka the Goober! Not a term I thought up. One my Sister, his wife thought of! :P I guess woes aplenty for me, if I let so be. To the asker: Don't let on IDIOT TROLL! Ruin your day. I do posses the "RED-HOT, FIRE!" aka the sharpest of any swords! My cuts a troll can never recover from and I tend to strike to kill! :P He was an awesome grandpa and a WW2 veteran sailor. Only WW2 Veterans can call me Army by right! ( My branch didn't go on it's own by then. Also, Elvis was in our branch before...)I Salute him and Thank him for his Sacrifices for us all! |
