Can anyone help me regarding breast cancer and denial ?

My best friend and sis in law...was told yesterday she has breast cancer. Her brother and I are soo sadden over this and will do whatever we can to help her.
The sad thing is she told me she had the lump for 5 yrs and it is now 4.5 cm and she had to go to doc for job physical and they noticed it but she already knew it was there.It was just confirmed it was cancer and she needs MRI ..but she doesn't want to do anything about it out of fear and because she doesn't want to have surgery or any treatment because she said she will learn about it, get other opinions and tests and she said TAKE HER TIME before she decides what to do.
