| How can I help my friend who is in denial about having breast cancer? My best friend and sis in law...was told yesterday she has breast cancer. Her brother and I are soo sadden over this and will do whatever we can to help her. The sad thing is she told me she had the lump for 5 yrs and it is now 4.5 cm and she had to go to doc for job physical and they noticed it but she already knew it was there.It was just confirmed it was cancer and she needs MRI ..but she doesn't want to do anything about it out of fear and because she doesn't want to have surgery or any treatment because she said she will learn about it, get other opinions and tests and she said TAKE HER TIME before she decides what to do. HOW DO WE HELP ? she is 36 with kids and has a history of closing her mind off to things she doesn't want to face.      |
