| Do I have cancer? So recently, when i have a bowel movement there's blood in my stool. It doesn't matter if it's loose or not, there's blood. Not a ton, but it's in the toilet and on the toilet paper. And it's coming from the inside, so i didn't cut myself. I remember this happening after I was constipated, and it's been doing this since. I'm a little worried, and for you girls it's like when you go to the bathroom on your period, but maybe a little less. What could this be and what should i do? do you think I've cut myself on the inside? I'd really like some help. Thanks. ;] Also, there's no pain when I go. It's just like normal. it's bright, like period blood. There's not a ton, and I dont think it's every time i go to the bathroom. i went yesterday and didn't see any... I'm a 14 year old female haha Someone said polyps or something, do i have that? no, i'm not.. and at first i could feel tearing when i went and it hurt, but now there's no pain. |

| polyps is definitely a possibility. you should absolutely go to the doctor, though. recurring blood in the stool is not a good thing, and bright blood suggests it's fresh. if your constipation was recent (within a few days), and you forced yourself to go the bathroom, that could have caused some cuts, which keep reopening everytime you go the bathroom. but definitely go to the doctor as a precaution. |
