I have cancer of the bladder and I am almost 39 and female. I hve never smoked in...

...my life? but I have heard that being exposed to dyes is a great risk. Now does that include hair dye as well? becasue I have coloured my hair so many times in the past by packed job and hairdressers. I go back to see the specilist soon for treatment, althogh I do not know if this can be becasue I have now to a huge lumb inside my right upper thigh the size of a golf ball. Anyway please tell me if hair dye has contributed to this desease?

Bladder cancer is caused by a lot of different factors. Genetics for one. Not likely hair dye but possible. Do you ever use Sweet and Low? Right on the package it says it causes bladder cancer. Saccharin is what is in sweet n low. In women, it is often caused by having frequent bladder infections or PID. I highly suggest you look into a nutritional product called IP6. Google IP6 and bladder cancer. It is cheap, over the counter, and very safe.

Probably not, as you know cancer is a mutation of the DNA in your cells.

Going from that it could of nuturally formed from a genetic mistake in the replication of your cells......

And the lump.... might be a secondary cancer.... if so you are in a lot of trouble.......
