my poem please tell me what you think (bout my uncle who died of cancer)?

your slipping from my mind
your face no longer visits me in my dreams
its only been three years
but your slipping away from me

have to look at a photo
just to remember your face
the memorys i have
i wonder am i making them up

promised you i would never forget you
now i feel like iv let you down
im so sorry,i thought i would
never forget you but i am

one thing i will always remember is
how strong you were,
brave to the end
always smiled even tho you were in pain

never let us see you cry
never told us how scared you were
i will never forget how hard you fought
and how much you loved us ,and didnt wanna leave

it's a nice thought, but in the future you might want to refrain from telling people it's about a dead uncle/loss/death... people will figure it out, and once you state it out in the open like that, it really does tend to hinder any ability for an honest critique of the writing at hand.

i like it! i think its pretty good! i can def feel ur soul in it and i can tell the idea of forgetting him bothers u, i am very srry 4 ur loss. i have also lost my dad but not 2 cancer, 2 a heart attack so i get where ur coming from. ur poems very good GOD BLESS U

awwww... thats so sweet of you, my uncle died because he got hit by a car when i was 3 or 4 and he die butcame back to life and got told him he has ten years, and ten years later he passed
