my dog has cancer?

I am in such bad shape. The vet told us that my Boston has cancer and there is nothng that we can do. I knew I loved this dog but I never thought we both would take it this hard. I keep reminding myself he is still alive and to do everything I can to enjoy this precious time. My question is can someone tell me what it is like when a dog starts to pass away from cancer? We have never had to put a dog down before and that is what we will end up doing when the dog begins to have to much pain. Thanks

Just enjoy the time you have and do whatever will make your dog comfortable and happy. I am so sorry, my beagle might have prostate cancer so I kinda know where u r at. I thought about what I will do when the end is here, I wouldn't let my dog suffer and I would be with him when the time comes, it will hard as hell but I don't want Clyde to be by himself, I will hold him and let him know I am there and love him very much. I am so sorry.

Im very sorry too hear that! My dog died of a terrible cancer when she was 11. I cried 2 full buckets of tears. (no joke) . Spend alot of time with your dog now , and remember when your dog passes away, dont think about that but about all the good times you've had together. That's how i got over it but to tell you the truth i think alot about my old dog dusty and honestly i cry about it when im in my bed. Hope this info helped you!
